The sweet shop

Warm lamps, wooden shelves, and a wall of pick-and-mix bins on a December afternoon.

Out of the cold and into a shop that has not changed its fittings in decades. Warm lamps, wooden shelves, glass jars, and a wall of pick-and-mix bins.

I asked before taking the camera out. The shopkeeper said people photograph it most weeks; I still tried to stay out of the way.
